Vulcanized fibre sheet

Vulcanized fibre is a laminated plastic composed of only cellulose. It is a tough, resilient, horn like material that is lighter than aluminium tougher than leather, and stiffer than most thermoplastics. A product very similar to vulcanized fibre is leatheroid, it is however made using a different chemical process.

Finally, Penn Fibre continues stamping custom parts from all sort of plastic sheet as well as from vulcanized Fibre, Mylar® PET films, UHMWPE, High Impact Polystyrene, PTFE, Phenolics, and much more. Vulcanized Fibre is a hard, durable, chemically pure cellulose product that contains no resin or bonding agents. It offers flexibility, impact resistance, high tear strength and a smooth, abrasion resistant surface.
