Apr 16, 2018 · On the View menu, click Header and Footer. Click the Custom Header button or the Custom Footer button, depending on where the image is located. Click in the &[Picture] text of the image, and then click Format Picture. On the Size tab, adjust the size of the image to fit inside the header or footer section. This will instantly insert page numbers in Excel. If you want to insert page numbers in on the active worksheet only, follow the above steps. If you want to insert page numbers in multiple worksheets, select all the worksheets (hold the SHIFT key and select the worksheet tabs) and then follow the above steps.
